'Apple Watch Series 3' coming to Airtel, Jio stores
Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced the sale of "Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular)", starting May 11, a company statement said.
According to industry sources, Reliance Jio is also planning to bring Apple watch Series 3 at its stores with pre-orders starting May 4.
Jio, world’s largest mobile data network, today announced it will begin selling Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), which adds built-in cellular to the world’s number one watch, with pre-orders starting May 4, 2018 and availability on May 11th, 2018.
With cellular, customers can go with just their Apple Watch and stay connected to the people and information they care about. To help Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) customers get started, Jio will also offer a special introductory cellular trial.
To activate cellular service with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), customers first need to update iPhone to iOS 11.3 and watchOS 4.3, then tap Settings on iPhone > General > About and follow the prompt to update to the latest carrier settings.
To unleash the true potential of the Apple Watch Series 3 cellular, Jio announces “JioEverywhereConnect” service. With
JioEverywhereConnect, the users can use the same Jio on both the Iphone and Apple watch series 3 cellular.
For the first time ever Jio users using Apple watch series 3 cellular on Jio will not need to carry a phone to make calls, use internet and applications.
