Junglee Pictures is ready to rock the bollywood with a big budget film and helping them is Anurag Singh the big name in Punjabi film industry. The film is based on a Mythological character but the presentation will be new.

Anurag Singh produced highest grossing film Punjab 1984, Jatt and Juliet 1&2 with actor Diljeet Dosanjh playing as lead. Singh is trying to get into bollywood for a long time and now he is entering in the industry with a Mythological character based film. The film is in planning stages and is given Hanuman as the first name.

“The film will be a story of a super hero where the Mythological is presented in a modern way. We did not touch or change any Mythological facts but present the stories in a new way,” said Anurag Singh.

Two years earlier Singh met Priti Shahni director of Junglee Pictures and they planned the plot of the film. “We want to do something new and different which people feel that they saw it earlier but the challenge is to present it in such a way which no one ever see or listen about earlier. The idea struck instantly and the idea of Hanuman was finalised and now we can feel our dreams come true,” said Singh.

The film cast is yet to finalised and also the main lead. The story is of Lord Hanuman who considered to be the real worshipper of Lord Ram, follow celibacy (Brahmachary) and swear to live alone for the whole life. The film is based on the story and in such a way that people will love to see the character of Hanuman.

“The worshippers of Lord Hanuman will be the biggest fan of this film and I am not questioning the Lord or change the originality of the story. Its just the presentation is different just like the animation series Chhota Bheem, Bal Ganesh and Bal Hanuman. Its a big budget film and the actor of the film is a happy go lucky boy with extraordinary power, brain, enthusiasm and dedication like Hanuman,” said Anurag Singh.

Anurag further said the recently mega blockbuster film Bahubali is not the story of any superhero but the director filled the power of youth with technology. If one want to make a superhero film then you need some folk story related to it and you have to present it in new way. Here in India one cannot make superhero film on the scale of Hollywood as there is less budget here. So the only way left is to present the story in a very excellent way for the producer.
