Focus on bring communal harmony

Anupamsinh Gehlot took charge as new police commissioner of Vadodara on Friday and put focus making the city a peaceful one for the people. He was earlier worked as IGP here and transferred from Rajkot replacing Manoj Shashidhar.

Anupamsinh Gehlot took charge as the new police commissioner of Vadodara and received a grand welcome. The city is not new to him and he was earlier served as IGP here and well aware about it. After taking charge he talks about maintaining communal unity and make city a peaceful one to live.

“The biggest challenge is the communal tensions erupted during religious festivals and earlier commissioner work effectively to control it. Taking forward the same we target the few anti social elements responsible for instigating the people. We will keep a watch on such elements and also take action against those who sheltered them. Our main focus is to make the Cultural city a city to live peacefully and enjoy every festival with unity,” said Gehlot.
