Over 260 children participated and performed on theme based on indian tricolour

Under it’s Aanganwadi Adoption Program Baroda Citizens Council organised a annual function for the children of 25 Aanganwadi centres of ICDS. Over 260 children participated and performed on theme based on indian tricolour.

The Annual Function was organized in the Waghodiya Sports club area of Baroda where over 260 children of 25 Anganwadi centres participated and performed on theme Indian tricolour. Overcoming their stage fear the children of Bharwadwas, Marutinagar, Amarnagar, Ramdevnagar-l & 2, Santoshinagar, Anilnagar, Laxminagar, Nehruchacha,Bhathujinagar, Yamunamil l, Narayannagar, Sewage Pumping, Hanuman tekri, Punitnagar, Dhanlaxmi, Zavernagar, Vijayvadi, Bapod,Ektanagar, Subhashchok, Shantinagar, New Vaccine, Vaccine 2, Vaccine 3 gave 18 performances before the audience.

Baroda Citizens Council has been working in the city of Vadodara since 53 years. The organization has been active in the field of Child Rights, Women Empowerment, as well as Health related issues in Vadodara Rural and Urban areas. Under the Born Learning project (supported by United way Baroda) we have been providing all the children of Anganwadi with milk and qualitahve education through implementing the Bom Learning Program in the 25 Anganwadi centers of Vadodara since April 2017.

The main aim behind implementing the project is holistic development of the children between 3 to 5 years of age.

Dr.BinitaVerdia (Deputy Director, BCC), Sameer Khera (Chair Person, BCC), Rachna Parikh (Trustee, BCC), Priya Jagdale ( Executive Director, BCC) remain present at the event and motivated the children for participating in other such programs. All appreciated the children’s efforts.
