Anna Hazare's last seven days of hunger strike ended on Thursday evening. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reached the Ramlila ground in Delhi and ended his fast.

Anna's colleagues at the forum claim that the government has accepted their demands. At around 5 o'clock in the evening, Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis reached Ramlila Maidan and ended his fast. Fadnavis gave juice to Anna and ended his fast. Minister of State for Agriculture Gajendra Singh was also present.

Announcing to end the hunger strike, Anna said that the central government has decided to give one and half times the price of farmers on the basis of the cost of agricultural produce. He also said that the Center will soon decide on the appointment of the Lokpal. He said that we will give the center 6 months to complete all of these, otherwise we will again protest.
