Offered him to sit on his chair as a gesture of respect

The chair of Collector is considered to be the highest position of the district and when a less educated person get a chance to sit on it, it’s a once in a lifetime experience to cherish.

A employee in Anand collectorate had the similar experience when he had the chance to sit on the chair at it becomes a memory of immense happiness in life.

As a gesture of respect Collector R.G. Gohil gives Fatehsinh Makwana a chance to sit on his chair during his farewell from the office. It was a gesture of respect for completing his service with devotion, service and dedication.

Fatehsinh served with about 15 collectors during his tenure. The Collector is usually working in the office for ten hours a day and in the times of crisis, his office is open for 15 to 20 hours. In such times the position of the peon is small but the responsibility is equally important. Only those who have the qualities of discretion, insight, punctuality can handle this position. Fatehsinh proved his worthiness and the collector as a respect offered him to sit on his chair on the last day of his job.

Fatehsinh Makwana, a resident of Tranol near Anand, retired on 31st July, 2020 after a long service of 38 years. The special farewell to him is a memory to cherish for lifetime. Fatehsinh nicknamed Bhagat in the Collectorate, says, Bhagat means nature, speech, behavior and one has to live like the same.

He says that so far he had performed his duties with sincerity and honesty with about 15 collectors and have been honored. He had no idea that such an honor would come to him and indeed this will be a memorable moment for him for the rest of his life.

The present Collector Gohil Saheb has a lot of respect and sympathy for the junior staff. I thank you sir for giving me such a glorious presence.
