Amitabh Bachchan received Sayaji Ratna award in Vadodara

Gave youths an important lesson to respect their parents

Star of the Millennium the Mahanayak of bollywood Amitabh Bachchan was conferred the Sayaji Ratna award at a function in Vadodara before the presence of huge gathering of people. In his speech afterwards the superstar appeal the youth of today to respect their parents and their blessings can help them grow in life.

It was a festival like atmosphere in Vadodara as the whole city get indulge in the colours of Amitabh Bachchan. Right from his arrival at the airport and then at the venue to receive the Sayaji Ratna award the people make beeline to take a glimpse of the megastar visiting the city after 32 years.

From airport he reached the Laxmi Vilas Palace where he met the royal family and interact with them. After the lunch he heads to the function venue wwlcomed by people with big cheers and whistles. After the introduction he finally arrived on stage to receive the award from the hands of Rajmata Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad.

The angry young man gets emotional after receiving the award and said it's like a home coming for him after landing in Vadodara. He thanked the jury for considering him for the honour and appreciate the noble work by Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad for the city and the people.

In his speech he give a important lesson to the youth of today to respect their parents and take their blessing to grow in life. In between he also expressed the pain after he saw some of the people left their parents and they take shelter in the old age homes. He said the success matra of life is to get the blessings of parents and respect them as no life is complete without them. He also give his examples to show how important the contribution of his father in his own life.

Finally he also obliged his fans and sign autographs outside the venue much to the cheers of waiting fans.
