Ambikanagar Yuvak Mandal spreads message of child molestation this Ganeshotsav

Decorated the idol as per the theme

Ganeshotsav is a festival where the mandals use various themes to spread awareness in the society. This year in Vadodara the organisers decorated the pandals with themes of eco friendly, save environment, farmers suicide and many others.

Ambikanagar Yuvak Mandal in Gotri decorated the Ganesh idol on the theme of child molestation with a message and demand capital punishment for the accused.

Ambikanagar Yuvak Mandal in Gotri celebrate the festival since 1984 and every year they use different social themes to create awareness among people. As the cases of child rape on the rise the mandal this year decides to decorate the Ganesha with the same theme.

The organisers prepare the Ganesha idol as per the theme as the Lord holding the hand of a girl and punished the accused. The message is loud and clear as they also put placards showing the census of child rape as per states and demand capital punishment for the accused involved in such heinous crime.

The mandal pramukh Mayur Solanki said Ganeshotsav is the perfect platform to spread social messages as devotees visit in big numbers to witness the festival. This year theme is dedicated to the rising child molestation and rape cases which is alarming. Now it's the time to take strict steps by the government to stop such incidents which make the life of little girls a living hell.
