To visit small village of Gujarat is a very good opportunity for me : Ambassador, Nejmeddine Lakhal.

Nejmeddine Lakhal, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia on Saturday visited the farm of Jayeshbhai Patel, who is doing farming of Dates since many years in Jitali village of Ankleshwar.

Jayesh Patel lives in Jitali village of Ankleshwar, after doing successful farming of Dates and Pomegranate in around 11 Acres last year, his name was among reputed leading farmers by Gujarat Government.27 ton production was done of Dates last year. He was awarded as the best farmer by State Government.

Jayesh Patel said that first he was doing farming of Sugar Cane in Jitali village but he was not satisfied with that, But one thought of doing something new brought success in his life.

By the help of modern technology in farming he got success in Dates and Pomegranate farming and he set an example for other farmers in the village.

At present 500 to 550 plants are there in the farm of Jayesh Patel, and the fruits are set to come in upcoming July month.

Nejmeddine Lakhal, Ambassador , Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia said that India is the very big country and it have so many places to visit, so many traditions, food to know. For me each part of India is interesting. So this is a very good opportunity for me to visit Gujarat. India have lots of skills we all know, but we don’t get chance to visit here but today I m feeling proud that I got a chance to visit here in this small village of the Gujarat.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief of Mission, First Counselor, Embassy of the Tunisia’s Jamel Boujdaraiya, GSFC Agrotech Ltd CEO S.K Mishra, Chief P.P.Donga, GGRC M.D Sugur were present over there.
