Alumni Meet 2017 @ IIIM, CHARUSAT
Indukaka Ipcowala Institute of Management (IIIM), a premier constituent institute of Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Changa has organized Alumni Meet 2017 under IIIM Chapter of CHARUSAT Alumni Association (CAA) on December 24, 2017. The Alumni meet was held at Hotel Arizona Inn, Anand.
In this mega-conglomeration, more than 135 former students (Batch 2006-08 to Batch 2015-17) of I 2 IM assembled enthusiastically and participated in various events organized for the day. It is noteworthy that many alumni who are living out of state and abroad had made it a point to attend this gala meet.
During the Meet, Pritesh Patel, a young entrepreneur and former students of IIIM was awarded with Distinguished Alumni Award for 2017 among many aspiring alumni. Pritesh Patel is the owner of Health Plus Gymnasium at Ahmedabad. It is worth noting that during Alumni Meet 2016, Ranu Patel, Former Students of IIIM and successful young entrepreneur was awarded with Distinguished Alumni Award for 2016 for establishing company entitled efonebits with Amazon.

Amazon included her in a group of leading e-commerce role models of the world on the International Women’s Day. The nominations are based on the achievements/contributions of the nominee in the areas of Professional achievement, Community service, and an exceptional service to Institute / University.
“At IIIM, Entrepreneurship Specialization Courses, Workshops, and Training Programs helped me the most in developing my Entrepreneurial competencies, and nurturing me to fulfill my aspiration to be entrepreneur ” said Pritesh Patel on his success.
Dr. Govind Dave, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Principal, IIIM informed that Alumni Meet 2017 has been organized with the prime motive to pave the way for strong Alumni –Institute Interface for the benefits of all the students and alumni of the institute. Moreover, he said that each year the Meet provides a common platform to alumni to interact, share, and discuss their experiences, views and ideas on Industry on this occasion.
Alumni were briefed about the New Academic and Executive Management Programmes, Courses, CHARUSAT Contributors Club (C 3 ), Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Centre (EDIC), Mentorship Club and varied activities of the Institute, and were inspired to countribute in these activities.
Former BBA, MBA, PGDM and Ph.D. students shared their memories and the role of Institute in shaping their career. Movie screening was organized at the end of the meet.
