A 12 days All India NCC ‘Advance Leadership Camp’ (ALC) is being conducted at Thamna village of Anand district, by NCC Directorate, Gujarat from 17 to 28 Jan 2020. Specially selected 300 Senior Division NCC cadets from all states of India converged for this camp.

The training is based on specially formulated outdoor activity ‘CADET’ program, which includes ‘ICE Breakers’ exercises followed by various workshops on Communication Techniques, Self Understanding, Listening Skills, Team Building exercises, Confidence building, Creative Thinking and Public Speaking techniques. CADET (Comprehensive All-round Development and Employability Training) is an experiential, hands-on personality development program exclusively for NCC cadets.

Nine ‘Domain Expert’ from across the country are carrying out the institutionalized Leadership training of the NCC Cadets to arouse their latent Leadership Potential through a scientific process of Personality enhancement, development of Soft Skills, Communication skills, increased awareness and initiation into various HR & Management Techniques. Additionally, the cadets will be exposed to the process of Services Selection Boards (SSB) and motivated to select Armed Forces as their ‘First Career Choice’.

The NCC Cadets attending the training are enjoying the unique experience of the Outdoor Camp curriculum and looking ahead to the several competitive events to be conducted during the course of the camp.
