Around 150 Divyangs including special students from different schools felt the ambience of International Airport before the inauguration.

The happiness to see the aircraft taking off from the runway was clearly seen on their faces and they waved the aircraft. Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt organised the visit of the Divyangs before it's official inauguration on Saturday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Divyangs had the opportunity of lifetime after they visit and witness the airport from inside and feel the ambience. The students were so cheerful after watching the aircraft took off from the runway and they waved.

The Divyangs were so excited that they were seen taking selfies at the areas with their friends. They were so happy that before the inauguration they had the opportunity to see the new airport terminal.

"We often not get the opportunity to visit the airport and now we get the chance to visit the new terminal before it started. The facilities for people like us is good here and we have not found any problem," said Ketan Patel.

MP Ranjan Bhatt said that the aim is to bring smile to their faces as on 22nd The PM will distribute the tricycles and other things to them and also pledged to work for their development.

"The day was memorable for me as to see smiles on their faces is a life time experience for me. We also informed them to register themselves so that they can vote as some of them asked me about their eagerness to vote," said Bhatt.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the International Airport terminal which is already registered in Limca Book of Records for longest Single Length Steel Roof Sheet of 164.2 meters. The roof is the longest and joint less and for that the work started from 28th January 2016.

Vadodara airport is the second biggest in state after Ahmedabad and built in 17,500 square meter land and specially designed for big flights. Outside the airport there is a beautiful garden spreading at 64000 square feet area.
