Visited the Urban Health Center at Gajrawadi to review the screening process of vegetable hawkers
Pankaj Kumar, the Additional Chief secretary of Gujarat government paid a surprise visit to Vadodara on Friday after a complete lockdown was implemented in the state. He visited the Urban Health Center at Gajrawadi and reviewed the screening process of vegetable hawkers considered as super spreaders.
There is a strict implementation of complete lockdown started in Ahmedabad which will continue till next orders. Considering the rising Covid 19 cases in Vadodara, Additional Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar visited the city on Friday to review the situation. After his arrival he had a meeting at the Circuit House with the District Collector and other senior officials of the administration about the present situation in the city.
Afterwards he obtain the details about the ongoing screening of 2500 vegetable hawkers starting from today and continue for three days. He then visited the Urban Health Center at Gajrawadi and inspected the ongoing screening of vegetable vendors at the center. While interaction with media he expressed his satisfaction over the effective work being done by the Vadodara city district administration in view of Covid 19.
