Police launched manhunt to nab the accused

Arrested under prohibition a accused fled from the clutches of the police from SSG hospital in Vadodara. He was brought here for testing and kept there after his reports comes as negative of Coronavirus. He was also involved in the murder of notorious gangster Mukesh Harjani. Police launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.

Residing near Kalika Mata temple at Swad quarters, Anil alias Anthony Mulchand Gangwani and his associates Kaushalya Mishra, Iqbal Saiyed and Sanjay Rathwani was arrested by the police on 7th May from Chhani canal road for violation of lockdown orders.

Later Chhani police handover him to Taluka police for his involvement and wanted in prohibition case. Taluka police gets his remand and started questioning him and later handover to Savli police for the same offence. However on 12th May after getting his custody Savli police send him to SSG hospital for Corona testing.

Meanwhile last night around 3am Anil alias Anthony fled from the clutches of police from the hospital. Police reached the spot after the message and done nakabandi at various spots to caught the accused.

ACP Megha Tewar said they formed various police teams and launched a manhunt to nab the accused. They registered a case in Raopura police station and also investigate about anyone’s involvement in the incident. She added that they will arrest him soon.
