A super gift – Super Computer to CHARUSAT by Government of Gujarat

Enable students and faculties to have multiple opportunities for innovative projects and research.

Charotar University of Science and Technology has been conferred with a gift of Super Computer by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology of Gujarat Government. The same will help students in innovative projects and research.

This Super Computer is 30 times more powerful than current computer. With its arrival, Super Computer based syllabus will be added in the graduate and post graduates programs at CHARUSAT that will help students to gain expertise in it and add glory to CHARUSAT across the world.

The computer will be operated by university based Chandubhai S Patel Institute of Technology’s IT Engineering Department. A special room will be prepared for Super Computer under the supervision of IT Department professor and Super Computer Coordinator Dr. Amit Thakkar.

The super computer will help in Research and employment opportunities for students, Newer research possibilities in the field of deep learning & high performance computing, Will help in University data storage, Opportunities for multi-disciplinary research Research opportunities due to tie up with national and international level labs and will be helpful in learning Deep learning Subject.
