Police investigation revealed fear of failure in exams behind the suicide
A Student of CA committed suicide in Vadodara in fear of failure
in exams. The only son of the well educated family jumped from the terrace of
10 floor building on Vasna Bhayli road.
As per details Pratik Gupta 21 jumped from 10 floor Milestone
flats late night on Wednesday. Pratik is student of Chartered accountancy and
recently appears for the exam. As per primary police investigation he is in
depression due to fear of failure in his exams and might be the reason for the
extreme step.
The deceased father Rajesh Gupta works as manager in a
private company and mother is a doctor in reputed hospital of the city. Pratik
was the only son in the family and committed suicide late night on Wednesday.
The security guard rushed to the spot after the big thud sound and informed the
parents and the flat residents. The parents shocked to see the body of their
only son.
Police also reached the spot and send the body to SSGH for
post mortem. Further investigation is on in the matter.
