A STTP on “Capacity Building for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate Change” was inaugurated at CHARUSAT

Changa based Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) has organized a Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Capacity Building for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate Change” from 3rd December to 8th December 2018 sponsored by SERB, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and GUJCOST, Government of Gujarat. In six days long program, experts from IITs, reputed institutes and industrialist from renowned organizations will be interacting with the participants. The STTP organized by M. S. Patel Department of Civil Engineering, has been inaugurated by Dr. Pankaj Joshi, an International cosmologist and Provost, CHARUSAT.

Dr. Pankaj Joshi, during the presidential address has highlighted the scope of such activities and congratulated the M. S. Patel Department of Civil Engineering of CHARUSAT for the efforts. He emphasized on the need of such events and also mentioned that the analysis of impact of climate change can be helpful to manage the future natural calamities. The six days STTP will be beneficial to students and researchers from different regions of Gujarat.
