11th crocodile rescued from the village this season

A 13 foot and 400kgs weigh crocodile was rescued by GSPCA Volunteers from Dumad village near Vadodara city. This is the 11th crocodile rescued from the village this season.

As per details the GSPCA helpline number recieved the call about the presence of crocodile inside the farm of one Mehul Patel resident of Dumad village near Vadodara city. The team immediately informed the local volunteers and the forest department about the crocodile.

GSPCA team consists of Rinav Kadam, Rahul Patel, Karan Parmar, Mehul Patel along with Nitin Patel and Lalu Nizama from forest department reached the spot and safely rescued the big 13 foot crocodile weigh around 400 kilograms from the field. The crocodile was put inside the cage and handover to the forest department which in turn release it safely.

As per Raj Bhavsar from GSPCA this is the 11th crocodile rescued from the village this season. The crocodiles strayed inside the village and field from the river passing nearby and this one rescued on Friday is the biggest of all.

In another rescue the GSPCA and Wildlife SOS rescued a 9.5 foot python from a field near Karjan.
