Surat Turns Into Mini Delhi! Jaw-Dropping Police Stunts to Mark Gujarat Day”

The city of Surat is all set to witness an unprecedented celebration of Gujarat Gaurav Divas on May 1, as authorities prepare a grand, Republic Day-style parade filled with thrilling stunts and vibrant cultural displays.

For the first time, residents will experience a spectacle similar to the parades held at Kartavya Path, with police personnel performing daring bike stunts along the route from Y Junction to Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. The parade aims not only to demonstrate strength and discipline but also to celebrate Gujarat’s rich heritage and cultural diversity.

One of the key attractions will be high-risk bike stunts, including human pyramids where multiple officers balance on a single moving bike. Personnel dressed in traditional Kutchi attire will perform sword-wielding stunts, evoking the spirit of historical warriors. Adding a spiritual touch, some participants will appear in saint-like costumes to convey cultural values.

Women police officers will take center stage by performing challenging stunts while dressed in sarees, delivering a strong message of women empowerment and showcasing exceptional skill and courage.

Another breathtaking act will involve a jawan performing on a narrow iron rod placed between two moving bikes — a stunt that requires extreme precision and balance.

Beyond stunts, the event will also feature tableaux representing Gujarat’s development journey and Surat’s historical legacy, making it a blend of patriotism, culture, and entertainment.

Preparations are in full swing, with the district administration and police conducting rehearsals and ensuring tight security arrangements. Officials have invited citizens to gather in large numbers at Y Junction at 5 PM to witness this historic celebration.
