Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged India’s youth to dream bigger and aim for global success. Speaking at the centenary celebrations of Shri Ram College of Commerce in New Delhi, he said Indian talent is already leading major global companies and Indian businesses should also aim to lead the world.
Modi highlighted India’s progress in AI, drones, startups, manufacturing and defence. He said smartphone exports have crossed ₹2.5 lakh crore, while defence production has reached nearly ₹2 lakh crore. Defence exports have also grown from around ₹600–700 crore in 2013-14 to about ₹40,000 crore today.The Prime Minister also pointed to India’s rapid infrastructure and railway development. He said railway electrification, which was below 30% in 2014, is now close to 100%. Modi called on young Indians to set big goals and help build a stronger, globally competitive India.
