As per preventive measures samples are collected of people suspicious to be having symptoms of Coronavirus and checked inside the SSG hospital as per government protocol. District Collector is closely monitoring the samples testing and issues important guidelines in view of such challenging situation.
The testing lab is started in the SSG hospital to check the samples collected for Corona suspicious patients.
Chief District Medical Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat briefed that till date 108 samples were collected and out of them 97 comes as negative after testing. The nine positive are under treatment and the first patient was discharged from the hospital after 14 days on Tuesday. 79 samples from SSG, 18 from GMERS and 11 samples from private hospitals are collected for testing and out of them eight from SSGH and one from GMERS comes out as positive. Two samples were rejected earlier.
Dr. Tilawat further said that 752 different teams started survey of the households completed 97% of the work as Corona preventive step. During the check 699 cases of fever, 1557 cases of cough were came to light and necessary treatment and guidelines are given to them.
