Two doors now kept 15 cm open as the water inflow decreased

The water inflow in Dev Dam of Halol taluka has decreased as the rains stops in the catchment area. Vadodara Irrigation Circle has informed the District Flood Control Room about 964.80 cusecs of water is being released by opening the doors 4 and 5 upto 15 cm.

Earlier, 1932.43 cusecs of excess water was released by keeping the gates 30 cm open. Keeping a eye on the warning level the administration is
maintaining the rule level of the dam by releasing the water.

Concerning this, Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal has instructed Waghodia Mamlatdar in the taluka and especially the riverside villages to take full precaution and take all precautionary measures if necessary. The people of all the villages living on the banks of the river have been requested not to go to the banks of the river, not to stay and keep the cattle safe.
