9 died including four children in a horrific accident near Karjan
A four months old girl along with two children and 6 other persons died in a road accident near Karjan late night on Sunday.
The driver of the Fortuner SUV coming from Vadodara to Surat lost control of the vehicle and hit a car and a luxury bus after jumped the divider and zoomed in to the wrong side. The SUV turned upside down after hit the luxury bus. Another car also hit the luxury bus from behind. Total nine people died in the accident and three others were injured and later taken to nearby hospitals. Due to the accident the traffic on Vadodara Bharuch stretch was halt for sometime.
The accident happened near Shivkrupa hotel near over bridge at Karjan late night when the speeding SUV GJ-05-JD-2505 collided with two cars and a luxury bus. According to the information the driver of the SUV coming from Vadodara towards Surat lost control of the vehicle and first hit the Swift car and then crashed into a luxury bus after jumped the driver. Another car coming behind the luxury bus dashed the bus from behind. Sources said the SUV due to over-speeding hit the coming luxury bus and then turned upside down.
The accident was so horrific that nine people died including four children. 8 of the dead are from Jalaram Nagar Pandesara Surat and were inside the Fortuner. However one died was from Ahmedabad and was inside the Swift car. Among the dead are four children, 3 women and two men. Three others were injured in the accident rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
This is the second big accident after 14 people from one village of Rajkot died on Saturday on Bagodara highway. Among the dead are Vikas Gehlot 28, Aarav Gehlot 2and half, Mithi Gehlot 4months, Rinku Gehlot 27, Kailash Solanki 24, Nisha Sanjay Rathod 30, Pari Rathod 7 and Pruvin Rathod 3 yrs all from Surat and inside the Fortuner SUV. Another one Zalak Shah 30 from Saraswat Bodakdev Ahmedabad inside the Swift also died in the accident.
Injured Saurav Shah and Divya Shah inside the Swift car and Sanjay Rathod from Fortuner car were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
