An 8-foot- long crocodile rushed near a temple in Jambuva village and was rescued by the forest department late night on Thursday. The team struggled a lot to rescue the crocodile from residential area.

Vadodara goes out of gear after monsoon rains lashed the city and many areas complained of waterlogging. In such situation crocodiles are also a problem to deal with as they strayed inside the residential areas and prove threat to the people.

This year also incidents of crocodiles entered inside residential areas are reported from various areas of the city. In one such incident a crocodile entered inside Jambuva village situated near flowing Dhadhar river and create fear among the residents.

The villagers informed the forest department team and they reached around 2am at the village and after lots of struggle rescued the 8 foot crocodile and took it to the forest department.
