752 teams involved in household survey in rural areas of Vadodara district

Survey
completed in more than 36% houses

As per the
Gujarat government guidelines and instructions of Vadodara district collector
Shalini Agrawal the district health departments teams started house to house survey
in view of the Coronavirus scare. The step is to identify the suspicious cases
and spread awareness in people to observe healthy health practices to keep
themselves safe to fight the virus.

Under the
guidance of DDO Kiran Zaveri, presently 752 teams are working in the household
survey in rural areas under Vadodara district. Chief District Health officer
Dr. Uday Tilawat said the teams completed the screening of 5.27 lakhs
population and survey more than 1.04 lakhs houses out of the total 14.56 lakhs
population in the district.

During the
drive the team provide treatment to 286 people having fever and 625 having
cough problems. The teams not found anyonr having problems in breathing during
the survey. The teams completed 36.22 percentage of survey in the area and
continue the screening of people to complete it at the earliest.
