6 patients injured by lethal burns treated at Sterling hospital
Brought to life from very critical state
Total 6 burns cases were brought for emergency treatment in the hospital and cures successfully from very critical stage. Modernized treatment, presence of specialist doctors and excellent burns care management the Patients have been successful in rescuing from casualties. In addition, they have been set free from the risk of death at very early stage.
Eyes were also affected due to burns in four patients out of the six admitted in the hospital. Under the supervision of Eye Specialist Dr. Paras Mehta, the eyes of these patients have been preserved, while one patient is still diagnosed with an eye treatment by the doctor. The other two patients suffered severely with burns due to the absence of excessive Fumes while inhaling in lungs and at one point they were kept on ventilator for few days. One of these patients had deep-burnt in both hands and treated on second-stage reconstruction. For those who are suffering from third degree or excessive burn, the cadaver skin (skin obtained from dead body) is used.
He further added that in all these 6 cases, it was a challenge for them to bring the patient back to life without any fault and they were very successful. For all these patients we worked on them like a mission so that they could return back in their life without any malfunctioning in their body.
Anil Kumar Nambiar, Zonal Director of Sterling Hospitals, Vadodara, said many patients with high burns brought here in the emergency from Central Gujarat and vicinity of industrial areas like Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Panoli. Around 60 patients were bought to Sterling Hospitals in last one year for treatment. Generally, the sensitivity of industrial burns is high, in which the patient has to give all the immediate treatment without delay. The hospital provide modern and complete treatment especially for Burns cases.
