Robbers striked in the house of businessman and popular garba organiser Jayesh Thakkar in Vadodara and decamped with jewellery and cash total of 6.88 lakhs. Jayesh Thakkar is also associated with city Congress and was away with his family and went to Mumbai for Holi Dhuleti celebration when the robbers strike in his house.
As per the details Jayesh Thakkar is residing in Bansuri Bungalows in Pashabhai park along with his family and was away in Mumbai to celebrate Holi and Dhuleti there. His son and mother stayed back at home.
During the festival of Holi Dhuleti the main door of the bungalow was unknowingly left open by his son and mother. Meanwhile a person entered inside the house and went to the second floor bedroom broke the lock and decamped with 18,000 cash, gold jewellery, gold ladies watch, six silver plates, two gold biscuits total of 6,88,000 from there.
As per the information Jayesh Thakkar returned back on Monday night and shocked to see the second floor bedroom lock being broken and the cash and jewellery was stolen from inside.
