5th Armed Forces Veterans Day commemorated by Ranbankura Division

The 5th Armed Forces Veterans Day was commemorated by the Ranbankura Division on 14 January 2021 with befitting military ethos and dignity at the Prerna Sthal, Bikaner Cantonment.

On this occasion, homage was paid to the brave soldiers by Veterans and General Officer Commanding Ranbankura Division, on behalf of all Ranks of the Division. All Ranks of Ranbankura Division, Zila Sainik Kalyan Adhikari, Bikaner and Veterans attended the ceremony.

The General Officer Commanding, Major General Michael A J Fernandez, Vishisht Seva Medal, honoured the Veterans after the wreath laying ceremony. Addressing the gathering, he stated that the Veterans and Veer Naris are an integral part of the Armed Forces and we will always be grateful to them for their immense service to the organization.

After the address, the General Officer Commanding interacted with all the Veterans present. Ex-servicemen from different areas of Bikaner District interacted freely with the General Officer Commanding and shared varied aspects of their service tenures. The 5th Armed Forces Veterans Day was formally concluded with felicitation of Veterans.
