5462 remedicivir injections were provided to drug dealers in Vadodara on Monday

On Monday drug dealers in Vadodara were provided 5462 units of Ramdesivir injection, which is considered important for the treatment of corona. This information was provided by the state’s Food and Drug Administration to Special Duty Officer and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao.

According to the information provided by the Food and Drug Administration, 22738 units of this injection were provided to drug distributors in various districts of the state and 15402 units were provided to government hospitals and 13000 units were provided by Cadila to government plus private hospitals for a total of 511140 units. This also includes the quantity provided to Vadodara.

Dr. Rao also called a meeting with Chemists and Druggists Association and Private Hospitals Association on Tuesday to discuss and resolve the issue of availability of Remdesivir in Hospitals.
