Around 50 people donated blood at the 1st Blood donation drive by Chhatra Sansad at Gorwa ITI in Vadodara. The organisers make ensure that the guidelines of social distancing and other parameters be followed during the camp. The doctors also gave free medical check ups to the citizens as well.

The fight against the Corona Virus has left the Blood bank reserves at very low levels and there is need to collect ample amount of blood to treat the patients in such difficult times.

With an aim to help replenish these reserves Chhatra Sansad Vadodara has organised Blood Camps all across the city. They urge the citizens of Vadodara to donate blood and help save the lives.

The Blood Donation Camp was organised at Gorwa ITI on Sunday where around 50 people donate blood to help saving lives. Chhatra Sansad plan to organise more such camps in coming days at at various places in the city with all necessary precautions as per government guidelines.

The second camp will be on 9th August: KGP Childrens Hospital/Jalaram Blood Bank, Jalaram Marg, Karelibagh, 16th August: Temple opposite Diwalipura Garden, Diwalipura, 23rd August Narhari Blood Bank, Narayan Bhavan, Sayajibaug Road, Fatehgunj, near Kamati Baug, 30th August: Agrawal Samaaj Hall, near The Fern Hotel, Akota and on 6th September at Vallabh Vatika Party Plot, b/h Essar Petrol Pump, near Pariwar Char Rasta, Waghodia-Dabhoi Ring Road.

All necessary precautions will be taken as per the guidelines issued by the State and Central Government to eliminate the risk of infection.
