44lakhs foreign liquor seized by police in Vadodara

Vadodara range R.R. Cell on Wednesday night caught a trailer laden with foreign liquor worth 44lakhs. The team caught the trailer while it was passing through NH 8 from outskirts of Vadodara city.

As per the details Vadodara range R.R. Cell PSI receives the information about the trailer passing through NH 8 laden with foreign liquor from Surat towards Ahmedabad. The team then kept a watch at the highway and intercepted the trailer.

The police team then checked the trailer and found various brands of foreign liquor worth 44.06lakhs. The police also arrested Sanjay kumar Sharma from Jammu Kashmir and Ajay kumar Rajput and booked them under prohibition. The police is further investigating.
