With the coordination of the district administration, 37 people travelled to their home town Himachal Pradesh from Vadodara. They catch the train from Ahmedabad after board a special bus from Vadodara.
As per the instructions of District Collector Shalini Agarwal, the coordination made by the district administration made it easier for 37 people to go home to Himachal Pradesh. These people first reached Ahmedabad by road and from there board special train to Una in Himachal Pradesh.
According to Nodal Officer and Deputy Collector R.P. Joshi, the passengers included students, job seekers and laborers. They went through medical screening at North Mamlatdar’s office at Sama as per standard government protocols before the journey.
Food packets were provided to them by the food committee. They were very relieved by this arrangement and thanked the district administration for their efforts.
