 Decision in protest against the collective notice given to the employees

3500 employees of Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited went on mass leave on 1st July 2020 against the notice given to them by the administration.

They take the step after technical and non technical employees were given collective notice by the managment for old matters. The decision is likely to have a serious impact on power supply and maintenance.

The employees gathered at the MGVCL head office gate at Race Course and protest against the managment decision to serve notice to the employees. They also allege that they were harrased in the name of disciplinary action and demand cancellation of the notice given to them.

They shouted slogans against the administration and shows their unity in the fight against them. They said the administration issued notice to them for old matters and employees are in mental trauma about the disciplinary action. They demand the cancellation of notice given to them and added that the agitation is not for any financial gain or against the government.
