325 Nursing students will give services in government hospitals of Vadodara

As Corona cases are increasing everyday, the administration is taking every measure to ensure better facilities for the patients. In view of the same 325 students from 11 Nursing colleges of Vadodara city and district will give their services in government hospitals.

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao informed, they had convened a meeting with Principals of 11 Nursing Colleges of Vadodara, evoking the Disaster Management Act and Epidemic Act.

Upon their instructions, all Colleges have agreed to provide their final year Nursing students under the State Government’s policy as Nursing Sahayaks.

After the decision about 325 Nursing Sahayaks will be available from 21st September this Monday and they will be deployed in Gotri, SSG and other Government Hospitals, as per requirement.

The decision will not only help to fulfill the staff requirement in government hospitals but also give information to the Nursing students.
