Till date health services provided at 80 places

Under the instructions of Dr. Vinod Rao, Special Duty Officer, District Collector and District Development Officer, 32 health Sanjivani raths are roaming in 8 talukas to check the health of people by reaching to their door steps and distribute free medicines to them.

So far 80 places are covered by these vehicles to provide health services to people.

These Sanjivani raths are the part of precautionary measures taken by the state government to contain the virus. Health workers besides doctors are serving in these chariots and it’s services are also extended in the municipal areas of the district.

At present, under the directions by the Chief District Health Officer, 05 Sanjivani chariots are running in Vadodara taluka, 04 in Dabhoi, 04 in Karjan, 05 in Padra, 04 in Savli, 02 in Shinor, 02 in Desar and 05 in Waghodia.

Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said that so far a total of 17158 people have been examined by these chariots including 3501 people suffering from co-morbidity due to dangerous diseases.

Appropriate treatment, medications and guidance have been provided by the teams and doctors. While 205 patients have been sent to the hospital for further treatment. District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri has lauded the services of Sanjivani vehicles health workers.
