About 130 government doctors of various branches were given pre-vaccination training by the district team

As part of pre preparation to covid vaccination, a survey was conducted by 1310 teams in rural areas of Vadodara to register the names during the last four days as per the prescribed criteria.

As per the instructions of the Government of India, people who are over 50 years of age and under 50 years of age but suffering from serious diseases like cancer, heart disease (co-morbid) were registered during the above days in the polling station areas.

Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said a total of 258907 people over the age of 50 were registered during the survey, including 123849 men and 135058 women.


A total of 3584 people under the age of 50 with co-morbidities were registered, including 1959 males and 1625 females. Thus, a total of 262491 people in both the categories were registered in the rural areas of the district for the purpose of vaccination.

During the two days, about 30 senior officers of the district health system were imparted technical and medical training by the state team in the field of vaccination and were trained as master trainers.

Taking this work forward, the district level team today started technical and medical training on vaccination of about 130 medical officers from various branches of the district health system. The training, which will continue on Tuesday and is being imparted to taluka health officials, medical officers and AYUSH / RBS doctors.
