24/7 control room starts at Gotri Covid Hospital in Vadodara to address any emergency

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao reviewed the facilities and arrangements at the hospital to be ready for increase in patients

Vadodara is witnessing a rise of Corona cases in last few days and the administration is closely monitoring the situations at the hospitals to accommodate patients in case of need.

Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao is constantly on the move to review the latest situations and increase the facilities to accommodate patients. On Monday he visited Gotri and reviewed the situation about the facilities and other arrangements.

He said, they have 406 Patients at the moment in Gotri. There is no shortage of beds, Ventilators , equipments, drugs or manpower. They are starting a 24*7 Control Room in front of COVID ICU in Gotri Hospital to address any emergency. It will consist of a Biomedical Engineer, Fireman Electrician, Plumber and others.

He further added that, upon their request Health Department has deputed resident doctors from outside Vadodara. 32 resident doctors from Gandhinagar have already joined and 15 more will join tomorrow from Bhavnagar. 64 Nursing Sahayaks have also been engaged to augment to the manpower.
