Playing with weapons always proved fatal and that is what happened in Vadodara on Sunday evening where a commerce student died after fatally hit by the bullet fired from his father’s 12 Bore Gun.
The 21 year old boy was showing his father gun to his friend and both are clicking picture with the weapon when the bullet suddenly fired and hit in the stomach of the boy later died in the hospital.
Fatehsinh Raulji a retired Army personnel and now working in a security agency is residing in Samruddhi society near Kamla nagar Ajwa road with his family. On Sunday evening his 21 year old son Dhruvraj Raulji was at his home along with and his friend Arun Bherwani. Due to external exams Dhruvraj who is studying in 2nd year Commerce at MSU called his friend to his home for studying. His family was away for a marriage function and both the boys are alone at home.
Dhruvraj who stay behind for studies however was playing with his father’s gun and showing it to his friend. Suddenly the bullet fired from the loaded gun and git Dhruvraj in his stomach.
His friend who was talking on mobile rushed inside to find his friend badly injured and shouted for help. The neighbors rushed there and took him to the hospital where he died later during treatment.
After the incident Bapod police rushed to the spot and further investigating the matter. The whole family was in shock after losing their only son. Dhruvraj was twin to his sister who is studying in MBA at Vallabh Vidyanagar.
Dhruvraj friend was in shock as he came out to attend a call and suddenly he heard the gun shot and rushed inside to see his friend lying with a bullet hit. The bullet hit the ceiling at two points then hit the stomach of Dhruvraj. Police is further investigating
