Blood donation camp by team education organised in Vadodara and Dabhoi

Human blood is constantly needed to save the lives of patients undergoing treatment at Gotri and Sayaji hospitals. Covid’s condition has led to a decline in blood donation activity and increased need for blood in hospitals for patients.

Inspired by Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, Team Education has started a Blood Donation Collection Campaign in collaboration with teachers’ unions, educational institutions and education related offices.

As a link, Team Education with help of District Education Officer, Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti and Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools Association organized Blood Donation Camp for SSG Hospital today at Shreyas School, Manjalpur in Vadodara. More than 200 teachers turned up to donate and 135 bottles of blood was collected.

Similarly another Camp for Blood Donation for SSG and Gotri Hospitals was organized by DPEO and Shikshak Sangh in Dabhoi. About 150 teachers turned up to donate blood and about 80 bottles of blood was collected.
