    India always used to struggle against terrorism. India have faced many terrorist attacks from Kashmir to Ahmedabad.

    History of 26th July 2008 is like a black day for the people of Ahmedabad. This day affected so much in the minds of people in Ahmedabad. The people can not forget this day. Ahmedabad is the cultural and commercial heart of the Gujarat State and a large part of western India.

    There were 21 bomb blasts in just 70 minutes which made bloodbath in Ahmedabad.  In this terrorist attack total 56 people were died and more than 200 peoples were injured. Terrorists targeted the places where more public used to gathered like bus stand and hospitals.

    The bombs were planted in Tiffin carriers on bicycles, similar to Jaipur bombings on 13th May 2008. Many of the blasts targeted the city bus services of AMTS, ripping apart portions of the vehicles. Two blasts took place inside the premises of two hospitals, about 40 minute after the initial series of blasts. One of the blast occurred in the hospital were the injured people from the initial bomb attack were admitted. One bomb was found and difused in the Hatkeshwar area on the following day.

    Two live bombs were also retrieved from Maninagar, Gujarat CM Narendra Modi’s constituency. Gujaart Police recovered and defused two bombs in Surat, a day after the Ahmedabad blasts.

    Several TV channels after the blasts said that terrorist group Indian Mujahiddin accepted the responsibility of attack by sending a mail. Which further said, The attack is on behalf of 2002 riots.

    Several news agencies reported that they received a 14 page email five minutes before the explosion with the subject line “Await 5 minutes for the revenge of Gujarat”, referring to the 2002 Gujarat Violence which took place after the Godhra train burning incident. The email was sent by the group known as Indian Mujahideen on 26 July at around 6.41 pm IST. Content of email warned of attacks in 5 minutes in the name of Allah the Indian Mujahideen strike again! Do whatever you can, within 5 minutes from now, feel the terror of Death!

    Just one day ago from Ahmedabad blasts some this kind of blasts also took place in Bangalore and Karnataka.

    The pink city Jaipur also faced this kind of terrorist attack on 13th May 2008.
