A mega blood donation drive is initiated in Vadodara to remember the martyrs on Sunday.

21 blind couples from Mumbai will tie the knot in Vadodara and donate blood for the martyr jawans. A mega blood donation drive is initiated in Vadodara to remember the martyrs where people from every walk of life donate blood for the martyrs.

Jointly organised by Vallabh Youth Organisation, Chhatra Sansad, Vadodara City Police and Suraksha Setu the mega blood donation drive will start at the Vrajdham Aadhyatmik Sankul at Manjalpur. With slogan 'Let's Join The Initiative Dedicated to Defence Forced of The Nation' the drive will start on 17th March where people from every walk of life donate blood for the martyr jawans.

Taking a step further to the noble cause newly wed blind couples will also join the drive and donate blood. The 21 couple will tie the knot and later donate blood to inaugurate the drive. 21 childless Divyangs will bless the couple and make the occasion historic.

The blood donation camp will be attended by educational institutes, NGOs, mandals,clubs and also ex army personnel from the city. City based Narhari hospital and Indian Red Cross Society will manage the blood donation drive at the Vrajdham compound.
