Granted school teachers agitation

Teachers of granted schools in Gujarat on Monday agitate in front of DEO offices in every district of state regarding their various demands. The teachers also gives a memorandum in this regard to the collector.Government employees get the benefit of the 7th pay commission and the teachers of the granted school demand to implement the same to them also as early as possible. The teachers observed one day Mass CL and agitate in view of their demands and requested the collector and education officer to implement the 7th pay commission at the earliest.

Teachers in big numbers from Vadodara city and district remain present at the DEO office and silent protest in view of their various demands. They then give a memorandum to the DEO about their demands requesting him to solve at the earliest.Under the banner of Sheher Zilla Shaikshanik Sangh Sankalan Samiti the teachers of granted schools represent themselves before the DEO regarding their demands. Nearly 90 thousand employees are said to have denied the 7th pay commission for the last 10 months and a uneasiness among them is there.

Earlier couple of times they represent the education minister about the same demand and they were assured that the implementation starts from June. However the implementation is still pending and that angered the employees. They also demand that they were not given the transport allowance and recruitment of principals in the granted schools are also not there. With a these and other demands the teachers observed a one day Mass CL and protest.
