The cricket crazy fans are ready for the epic encounter on Sunday between two rivals India and Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Champions trophy. However in Gujarat there are lots of protest about the contest and as the big day approaches the protests are getting more aggressive.
On Saturday Vadodara city Congress raised their protest against the match between the two countries and burned the Pakistan flag at Sayajigunj Dairy Den circle. Police detained Congress city President along with 20 other members for violation of police notification.
Congress raised their protest against the match between India and Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Champions trophy and giving programmes in various areas of Gujarat. The party burns the flag of Pakistan and demand to give a fitting reply to Pakistan.
On Saturday under the leadership of Congress President Prashant Patel the Congress members raised their protest against the match and burned the flag of Pakistan which creates panic in the area. One time the traffic was also disrupted and the Congress members protest aggressively against the match.Congress President Prashant Patel and leader of opposition Chandrakant Shrivastav (Bhattu) said that Pakistan is violating the treaty in border everytime and the terrorists are openly attacked India. In this situation they demand not to continue any relationship with Pakistan not even cricket match. They also demand to give a fitting reply to Pakistan for its action.
The Congress also shouted slogans against the ruling BJP and protested. However police detained 20 Congress members including President Prashant Patel and leader of opposition Chandrakant Shrivastav for violation of police notification.
