On Saturday the blood reports of 143 people including females came positive in the high profile liquor party raid at Akhand farm house in Vadodara. The police detained 273 people from the spot after the raid and took their blood samples and send it to FSL Gandhinagar. After 10 days the report came where 143 people were tested positive for alcohol content more then .05 in their blood.

Vadodara rural police raid the high profile liquor party on 22nd night after a tip about a liquor party going on inside in a pre marriage function. Police detained 273 people from the Akhand farm house where the liquor party was going on and took blood samples of all for testing. The samples were send to FSL Gandhinagar where the reports of 143 were tested positive and now the police is in the process to investigate further.

“Out of 273 people reports of 143 came as positive where the alcohol content in the blood is more then .05 percentage. The list also includes females and we are now go ahead with our investigation. We will collect more evidence and then served notice to all and booked them whose reports came positive. We will file a chargesheet in the court in the matter. However the persons whose reports came negative will given the clean chit,” said Saurabh Tolambia SP Vadodara.

The high profile case was talk of the town since the police raid the farm house and detained 273 people including businessmen like Chirayu Amin and other high profile people. They all were detained under Prohibition Act 66(1)B, 81,84,86,90 and released on bail. The father son duo Jitu Shah and Alay Shah and the two drivers were also booked under 66(1)B, 65-A,E,81 and case registered against them and all were remand for five days police custody. Later they were all released on bail.

Now the reports of 143 people came positive of Alcohol present in the body and police is now in the process to booked them and filed a chargesheet in the court.
