Neon run in Vadodara for awareness about breast cancer in women
The citizens of Vadodara will witness the charisma of neon colours for the first time at PCJ Queens Neon Run organised by Vadodara Marathon. The colourful neon run is scheduled to be held on November 27,2016 and will be flaggedoff from Ambalal park ground at Karelibaug.
Vadodara Marathon, which is committed for health and fitness of Barodians, regularly conducts various activities related to fitness for the citizens of Vadodara. This includes the much popular Vadodara Marathon and the 5 km night run popularly as the Queens Run. This time the Queens Run has an added attraction of neon colours which is an added attraction for the participants and spectators.
The PCJ Queens Neon Run will be flagged off by Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad at 6.30 pm. Vadodara Marathon has always a cause of awareness attached to its fitness event and this time its total development of females along with the awareness about breast cancer within the females. "I joined the event not because of Maharani but I am a lady first. The run is the spread the awareness of health and in my view Self health is the best health. And Baroda is always known as night celebration like the world known Garba and this time the neon run with a cause," said Radhikaraje Gaekwad.
The run which is dedicated for the awareness of breast cancer will have a pink neon theme and all the participants will be dressed in neon pink t-shirts.This exclusive fun run for females will have various neon accessories for the participants, which will create a colourful experience for the runners and the spectators.
Talking to media, the chairperson of VADODARA MARATHON, Tejal Amin said "We expect a participation of 5000 females in this run. In past the Queens run was organised for the awareness of breast cancer, this run will carry forward the same cause as there is a lot to be done in this field. We are thankful to PCJewellers and all our partners for the support they have given in this run”.

We also announced a campaign on 19th and 20th where the registered participants visit the PCJ and clicked themselves with our jewellery and said Care for Health and upload it in our FB page and #Queens Marathon. The queen of them all will get a surprise gift.
Currently participants in large number have started getting registered , while every participant will be given a kit which includes neon pink t-shirt, neon accessory and vouchers.The run will be followed by a after event party,where the young singing sensation KavyaaLimaye and DJ Yezad will create a celebration mood.
