A massive explosion occurred inside a chemical factory in Dombivali

A massive explosion occurred inside a chemical factory in Dombivali region of Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.

According to media reports, the blast occurred in a boiler room of a Chemical factory in the MIDC area in Dombivali (east). At least three are feared dead in the incident.

As per the sources in Thane Police Fire tenders, water tankers and ambulances are currently at the spot and the rescue operation is on.

Sources added that the explosion shattered window glasses of houses and establishments as far as two kilometres from the factory.

Injured workers are shifted to the nearby hospital,personals from different government department have rushed to the spot
