Famous Folk singer Kirtidaan Gadhvi mesmerised the crowd in Vadodara on Wednesday night in a programme as a part of Satyam Shivam Sundaram Samiti organised Shivotsav in the city. However as like everywhere the people showered 20rupees notes on him when he started singing 'Nagar Main Jogi Aaya' in the Dayraa programme.

Satyam Shivam Sundaram samiti organised various programmes during Shivotsav in Vadodara on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Many famous singers like Osmaan Mir, Kirtidaan Gadhvi were invited during the celebration for Dayraa, Bhajan Kirtan programmes. In view of that on Wednesday night at Gorwa Laxmipura road a programme of Kirtidaan Gadhvi was organised at the open ground in front of Dashamaa temple.

To listen to the mesmerising voice of famous Folk singer the who's s who of Vadodara like MLA Yogesh Patel, Mayor Bharat Dangar, MP Ranjan Bhatt, Standing committee Chairman Jigisha Sheth, Gujarat Pradesh General Secretary Shabdsharan Brahmbhatt and many others were present. The ground was full to its capacity.

In the start Kirtidaan Gadhvi sing Shiv Aradhana and the people present there enjoyed it and appreciate the singer with claps. After that the singer started the famous 'Nagar main Jogi Aaya' and as soon as he start singing the people get up from their chairs and dance. Many of them reached near the stage and shower 20 rupees currency notes on him.

The whole environment there was turned into Shivmay as the people enjoyed ech and every bit of the programme. Many demand their bhajans and the singer gracefully obliged them.

On 24th the committee organised Shivji ki Savaari from Runmukteshwar Mahadev temple where the lord Shiva along with his family will give their blessings to the people of Vadodara. The procession will start from the Runmukteshwar temple and passing from Chowkhandi, Mandvi, Nyay Mandir, Sursagar, Raopura road, Kothi and ends at Shivpuri near Aradhana talkies. A Maha Aarti is also going to happen at the Sarveshvar Mahadev situated inside Sursagar lake.
