2 injured after Ganesh idol fell on them in Vadodara

Two persons were injured after the heavy Ganesh Idol fell after it released from the angle of the crane. The devotees felt sad after the video of the incident went viral on social media. Four persons were also injured after the mandap at Kishenwadi Subhash Chowk fell on them.

As per the details the whole Vadodara city was indulged in celebrating the festival of Anant Chaturdarshi to give emotional farewell to Lord Ganpati. Sursagar lake the popular spot in Vadodara was buzzing whole day as one after another the Ganpati idols were arriving for immersion.

Meanwhile a Ganesh Mandal arrived with 10 to 12 foot height idol at the Sursagar lake and the crane in place picked the heavy idol from the platform. However to everyone surprise the idol was released from the angle of the crane all of a sudden and feel on face. Two persons were injured after they came under the idol.

The devotees felt sad after the video of the same went viral on social media and they were also in delima that how the idol was released from the angle of the heavy duty crane.

In another incident our people including three women were injured after the mandap fell on them at Kishenwadi Subhash Chowk area. All the injured were rushed to SSG hospital for treatment.
