1st edition of Junior Marathon organised in Vadodara

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Fit India” campaign

As part of pre event to the 9th edition of MG Vadodara International Marathon, a Junior Marathon was organised in Vadodara to spread the message of fitness. Nearly 2000 pre school students along with their parents take part in the event and spreading the message of healthy life.

The first “Junior Marathon” was organized in Vadodara in collaboration with the UDAAN and Vadodara Marathon. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Fit India” campaign, this junior marathon on the theme of “Bachhe Fit To India Fit was held for pre-school children and their families on December 21 at Kamatibag on Saturday to “inspire fitness.

Junior marathon was held in three categories of 2.5 to 4 years with 100m Junior Fun Run Guardians, 4 to 5 years Junior Half Marathon 210 meters and Junior full marathon 5 to 6 years will be held at 420 meters. All children participating in the Junior Marathon are encouraged to provide attractive gifts and given a message to stay fit.
