1993 #MumbaiBlasts case: TADA court awards life imprisonment to convict #AbuSalem

Special tada court announced its Verdict in Mumbai serial blast case on Thursday to accused Underworld don Abu Salem and other five accused. The court awarded life imprisonment to Abu Salem in 1993 blast case. Tahir Merchant to death, Riyaz Siddiqui to 10 years in jail and one other accused Karimullah Khan also given life imprisonment and 2 lakhs penalty for supply arms. One accused Mustafa Dosa died of heart attack.

After 24 years of Mumbai blast, court found six person guilty along with Abu Salem. On Thursday the court order life imprisonment to Abu Salem and other accused Karimullah Khan in the case.

Mumbai serial blast happened on 12th March 1993, left 257 people died and more than 700 people got injured. The accused, who were found guilty in the attack, were extradited from Portugal in 2005, including Mafia don Abu Salem, Mustafa Dosa, Mohammad Tahir Marches, Karimullah Khan, Riaz Siddiqui and Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan. Mustafa was extradited from the United Arab Emirates, who has recently died.
